Supported Browsers

The e-lawstudent web site supports the most common web browsers.

The minimum version levels of each web browser which we actively support have been listed below:

Mozilla Firefox version 3.x (released June 17, 2008)

Internet Explorer version 8.x (released March 19, 2009)
Internet Explorer version 7.x (released October 18, 2006)

Safari: We have tested with Safari 3 and above and everything seems to work.

Opera: Version 9 and above of Opera should work fine.

Other browsers including Internet Explorer 6 may experience rendering issues and other glitches such as videos/audio not working, feel free to report errors that you experience with browsers other than those listed above however please be aware that we do not intend to fix issues with browsers versions older than those listed above.

Internet Explorer: It is always our aim to support the most current version and the prior version of Internet Explorer.

With the release of Internet Explorer 8, this means that we now no longer intend to actively support Internet Explorer 6, it is in essence a different architecture to today's browsers and would require the maintenance of a separate codebase which is something we do not have the resources to do.

The majority of our visitors are using IE7 with a large number now using IE8, if you are still using IE6 or lower you should consider upgrading to at least IE7 as Microsoft have removed all support for Internet Explorer 6 and we no longer support it for use with our web site.
